Hey Everybody... Did you get your renewal?? If you received a 3 x 5 green card that says OFFICIAL RENEWAL NOTICE - DO NOT TOSS, it's not a magazine subscription renewal, it's your REAL ESTATE LICENSE renewal. If you didn't get one (I'm writing this on October 21st) check it out by (a) going through your trash, (b) finding your pile of "not yet looked at" mail or (c) contacting the Department of Regulation and Licensing. If you moved during 2007 or 2008 and didn't tell the DRL, you most likely didn't receive it. The DRL is VERY picky about wanting to know where you are and instruct the post office to return it to them and not forward it. Also, if you didn't receive it, you may want to check the Department's website to see if you actually renewed the last time... don't laugh - it's happened! If it's over 5 years, you may want to call me to bail you out if that's possible. :):)

So when is it due - December 14th!
YES - you heard me right - December 14th this year. No waiting until Christmas week to renew because by then it's too late. It's all online this time so the good news is, you can renew Dec. 9th and get in under the wire... that may not make your broker happy but you'll be legal with the state.
