  • Ambassador James McGee Diplomacy Award for US Ambassador to Zimbabwe

    Ambassador James D. McGee received the 2008 Diplomacy for Freedom Award for his extraordinary commitment to promoting democracy and defending human rights in Zimbabwe. The award was presented by Secretary of State Rice on Monday at a function held annually to mark International Human Rights Day in Washington, DC.

The main thrust of her program was to explain the new Sexual Offences Act which can be invoked to prosecute human trafficking offences.
