When Understanding the Present is Not Enough

Have you ever been struck by a single idea, a lightning bolt from the sky, that somehow overpowers your entire day? Do you remember the energy that the idea generated inside your mind?

Our world is powered by the forces of these single ideas. These are the ideas that bend light and make time stand still. These are the ideas that begin to lure in loyal followers, and the followers recruit other followers. These are the ideas that begin to build influential networks, and the people in these networks begin to orbit around the concept in such a way to form a social anchoring point. These are the ideas that have built the world of our past and will soon build the world of our future.

Ideas are powerful things. And the idea density of this event is truly staggering.

The DaVinci Institute has been producing "A Night with a Futurist" since 2002. Each month a well-known visionary leads the discussion on some aspect of the future world that we are creating. These events are designed to be discussions, so feel free to make your voices heard.

Seating is limited, so come early and grab something to eat. We will begin at 7:00 pm and wrap up no later than 9:00 pm. There will be a cash bar. Food and snacks will be available in the restaurant.

Upcoming events are as follows:

Jeff Peckman

Jeff Peckman
 Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission Advocate

"The Proposed Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission"
A decision for Denver. A turning point for the universe.

In May of 2009, voters will be asked to decide if Denver should become home to the world's first Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission. Before you dismiss this as a totally crazy idea, here are a few points to consider:
  • The Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission will not be funded with taxpayers money, only donations.
  • Scientific and unscientific polls over the last 10 years have shown that a large percentage of the population believes that extraterrestrial intelligent life exists and has visited Earth.
  • The X-Files were one of television's top rated series.
  • Jeff Peckman has been interviewed on many national television shows, including David Letterman.
  • Jeff is on the Board of Advisors of the Exopolitics Institute and the new Institute for the Study of Galactic Civilizations headed by Dr. Maury Albertson, co-developer of the Peace Corps and former VP of Research at CSU.
  • The Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission has the potential to create new economic opportunities for Colorado.
Here is your opportunity to discuss this topic with bill sponsor, Jeff Peckman.  His presentation will include some clips of witness testimony by a few of the hundreds of whistleblowers in the Disclosure Project. These whistleblowers previously had top secret security clearance during what they described as close encounters with either extraterrestrial intelligent beings or their vehicles.

"There has been a major shift in media coverage on the controversial and complex UFO and extraterrestrial hypothesis just within the last eight months. It started with major news coverage of the Stephenville, TX UFO sighting in January and includes the most recent startling comments by former astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell in July. It has become obvious to those following the UFO/ET issue that disclosure of this 60-year secret is accelerating," said Jeff.

Join us for an evening that might change your perception of history and reality. Please register early to reserve your seat.

TOPIC:  "The Proposed Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission?"
SPEAKER:  Jeff Peckman

SPEAKER:  Jeff Peckman has a history of championing provocative ballot initiatives, and promoting cutting-edge technologies as on his www.worldpeacemarket.com web site. He was formerly the DaVinci Institute’s Vice President of Special Projects and Director of the Brain Fingerprinting Task Force. Now he wants to start a "meet and greet" between our human population and what are claimed to be many species of extraterrestrial intelligent beings who have visited us for decades and even centuries.

Jeff’s ballot initiative to create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission in Denver recently thrust him into the global media spotlight almost overnight. His May 30 "alien video", showing an alleged extraterrestrial being, broke page view records at Denverpost.com and made the top news and search lists at Google, AOL, Yahoo, MSN and YouTube. His 70+ media interviews during a six-week culminated with in-person appearances on David Letterman and Geraldo, and an uplink to Larry King in early June. His www.extracampaign.org web site got over 250,000 hits during the 24-hour period following the video showing to the media.

Directions to CB & Potts

Drive a ways. Turn left. Look for a tree. Take another left. Slow down. Two quick rights. Roll down the window and ask directions. Sorry, we really don't have a clue. That's what makes us futurists.
